The visa

Which visa do pilots need?

Full-time flight training students usually need an M-1 vocational student visa. The process starts with a Form I-20 for your program, followed by the SEVIS fee and an interview at a U.S. embassy or consulate. Your advisor will confirm the right visa for your situation.

Visitor visas generally do not allow full-time study. Ask an advisor before you travel.
